Shrimps

Shrimps is a London label founded in 2013 by Hannah Weiland, who trained in History of Art and surface textile design. It built its name on colourful faux fur outerwear as a cruelty-free alternative to real fur, and now sells a full ready-to-wear collection alongside handmade beaded bags and accessories. Prints, wool knitwear and nods to modern art shape the aesthetic, and the label works with London-based artisans for sampling and production. Weiland remains founder and creative director; Shrimps was a BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund finalist in 2017.
