Cult Gaia
Cult Gaia, founded in 2012 by Jasmin Larian Hekmat, started with flower crowns and vintage-silk turbans before pivoting to sculptural accessories. The bamboo Ark bag, acrylic and resin top-handles, and the beaded-strap Luna define its Grecian-modernist look, with styles named after goddesses including Hera and Eos. The Los Angeles label now sells ready-to-wear, footwear, swim, jewelry and, since 2024, fragrance, operates standalone stores in Los Angeles and New York, and has collaborated on swimwear with Adriana Degreas. Larian Hekmat remains founder, owner and creative director; the company is independent and has taken no outside funding.
