Tailor Toyo is the sukajan (souvenir jacket) label of Tokyo's Toyo Enterprise, the heritage clothing group established in Sumida in 1965 whose predecessor, Kosho & Co., supplied embroidered jackets to US military PX stores in postwar Japan. The brand reissues archival souvenir jackets in silk, rayon and acetate with dense chain-stitch and hand-guided embroidery of eagles, tigers and dragons, alongside Vietnam-era jackets, sweats and tees. Made in Japan and sold through specialists including Clutch Cafe, HINOYA and DeeCee style. Jackets typically run several hundred to over a thousand dollars.
