What to know about The Rite Stuff
The Rite Stuff is a heritage workwear label founded in 2017 by American designer Bryan Shettig, who runs the brand from Taiwan. It reproduces pre-WWII American workwear and sportswear from the 1920s to 1940s, developed through vintage archive sourcing and research, then produced in Japan with John Lofgren's workshops using period-correct fabrics, deadstock materials and traditional construction. The catalogue centres on chambray and hickory-stripe work shirts, henleys, loopwheel tees, work pants and scarves. It sells direct and through heritage stockists including Redcast Heritage and Those That Know, with a Spring/Summer 2026 collection announced.
