What to know about White's Boots
White's Boots is a Spokane, Washington bootmaker that builds hand-sewn stitchdown boots for wildland firefighters, loggers, linemen, and hunters. Its best-known model is the Original Smokejumper, an NFPA-certified fire boot made with Vibram soles and fire-resistant Technora thread. White's also makes work and lifestyle boots, and most pairs can be rebuilt and resoled. The company runs a factory and retail store on East Ferry Avenue. It has been owned by Portland's LaCrosse Footwear since July 2014, and the brand still makes its boots in Spokane.
