Fabric came before the collection

Founder Nic Wiessler spent years developing cloth before the February 2023 launch, landing on 14oz broken twill and selvedge denim as the base of the line.

WiesMade is a family-run American denim and knitwear label founded by retail veteran Nic Wiessler in Petaluma, California, launched in February 2023 after a multi-year fabric development process. Every piece is farmed, milled and sewn in the USA: 14oz broken twill and selvedge denim woven at Georgia's Mount Vernon Mills, plus American cotton, wool and hemp knits, cut and sewn by a family-owned Los Angeles shop. The range covers jeans, tees, chore coats, canvas jackets and belts for men and women. Its first store opened in Petaluma in late 2025.
