YME Universe
YME Universe is a wound-down Oslo concept store and in-house label founded by Nicolai Schaanning Larsen. It opened in September 2014 inside an 1844 building on Karl Johans gate, with a Snøhetta-designed interior spanning an art gallery, bookstore and top-floor café. The buy mixed Off-White, Stone Island and 1017 ALYX 9SM with YME-branded apparel, books and art posters, plus launches and in-store events. Owned by Norwegian retail group Varner, it shut its physical store in 2023 and closed the webshop on 31 March 2025 to avoid bankruptcy.
