1/8 Takamura

1/8 Takamura is a Mexico City clothing and accessories studio led by designer Guillermo Vargas, whose Japanese great-grandfather inspired the name. The label blends Mexican and Japanese dress codes: chore coats, kimono-cut and trapeze jackets, boxy shirts, blouses, dresses and wide trousers, largely in 100% cotton and other natural fabrics with clean seams and unfussy, seasonless shapes. Garments are produced locally in small runs and sold through the brand's Colonia Juárez store on Calle Dinamarca and stockists including Self Edge in Mexico City.
