Altar'd State

Altar'd State is the flagship women's retail brand of Knoxville-based Stand Out For Good, Inc., which also runs sister labels Arula and Vow'd Weddings. It sells apparel, accessories, jewelry, gifts and home goods through more than 100 US stores plus e-commerce, built on bohemian silhouettes: floral maxi and midi dresses, tiered smocked tops, embroidered kimonos, wide-leg denim and layered jewelry. Locations use a boutique-style layout, and the company runs a recurring in-store giving program directing a share of sales to local charities. It remains privately held.
