Baffin Boots
Baffin builds cold-weather footwear for extreme conditions. The Hubner family founded it in 1979 in Stoney Creek, Ontario, entering the shoe trade with injection-moulding machines, and the company remains headquartered there. The range centres on multi-layer removable inner boots rated for deep sub-zero use, plus insulated pac boots, industrial and safety styles, and lighter urban winter models typically priced from about CA$180. Canada Goose bought Baffin for CA$32.5 million in 2018 and runs it as a stand-alone operation. Baffin boots are used on polar expeditions and resource-industry worksites.
