BARRAGÁN

BARRAGÁN is the label of Mexican designer Víctor Barragán, who started the project as ytinifninfinity in 2014 in Mexico City and moved to New York in 2015. The brand treats clothing as an art practice, pairing garments with its own art direction, photography and performance-driven presentations. Collections rework basics into irregular, genderless silhouettes, removing and re-attaching elements to build new shapes, and lean on mesh, jersey, low-rise cuts and graphics referencing Mexican pop and club culture. Earlier collaborations include Belgian vegan footwear label Rombaut. Sold through wholesale retailers including SSENSE.
