Benny Gold
Benny Gold was a San Francisco skate and streetwear label founded in 2007 by graphic designer Benny Gold, built around a paper-plane logo and the "Stay Gold" slogan that started as a sticker campaign. It sold graphic tees, coach jackets, Japanese-made windbreakers, flannels, chinos, caps, bags and skate decks through roughly 500 stockists plus a Valencia Street flagship with a café and design studio, and collaborated with JanSport. Gold shut the label down in 2019 and joined Goodby Silverstein & Partners as a design director; bennygold.com survives as a small graphics-led merch shop.
