Buzz Rickson's

Buzz Rickson's is a Japanese military reproduction label launched in 1993 by Toyo Enterprise, the Tokyo heritage group behind Sugar Cane and Whitesville. Named after Steve McQueen's character in the 1961 film The War Lover, it recreates US Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps garments from its own vintage archive, replicating yarns, weaves, hardware and patterns. Signature pieces include MA-1, B-15 and N-1 deck jackets, alongside fatigues, sweatshirts, tees and accessories, all made in Japan. The William Gibson Collection, launched in 2003, produces the black MA-1 that features in the novelist's book Pattern Recognition.
