What to know about Cubitts

Cubitts is a London eyewear maker founded in 2013 by Tom Broughton, named after the Cubitt brothers who built King's Cross, with frame styles named after neighbourhood streets. It hand-finishes Mazzucchelli acetate, surgical stainless steel and titanium frames fitted with ZEISS lenses, priced flat with prescription included: £175 acetate and steel, £275 titanium, £375 bespoke. Stores offer eye examinations, made-to-measure, bespoke design and free repairs. The independent, venture-backed company runs around 20 UK shops plus two in New York, and a 13,000 sq ft King's Cross headquarters and manufactory.
