Still By Hand

Still By Hand is a Tokyo menswear label designed by Yusuke Yanagi, who started it after studying fashion in the UK; full seasonal collections have run since 2009 under parent company Style Department. Garments are made in Japan from Japanese fabrics, spanning washed cotton shirting, wide-cut trousers, knit polos, chore jackets and wool outerwear. The look is quiet and detail-driven: clean lines, relaxed proportions and seasonal colour palettes drawn from Japanese landscapes. Distribution runs through independent stockists in Japan, the UK, Australia, Canada and the US.
