Dime MTL
Dime is a Montreal skateboarding label founded in 2005 by Antoine Asselin and Phil Lavoie, initially a skate crew and video outfit (The Dimestore Video, Knowing Mixtape) before launching apparel in 2014. Product centers on logo tees, heavyweight fleece, corduroy and canvas pants, caps and outerwear, built on deadpan humor, wonky graphics and 1990s skate proportions. The brand runs the annual Dime Glory Challenge contest and has collaborated with Vans, adidas, DC Shoes, Reebok and Canadian outerwear maker Kanuk. It remains independently owned and operates its own Montreal shop.
