ECOALF
Ecoalf is a Madrid-based sustainable label founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, built around recycled inputs such as post-consumer PET bottles, discarded fishing nets, tyres and cotton waste. Its Upcycling the Oceans project works with fishing fleets to recover marine waste and convert it into yarn. The range spans puffer jackets and shell outerwear, knitwear, sneakers, swimwear and accessories in muted, utilitarian colours. A certified B Corp, it runs its own stores in Spain and abroad, including Tokyo, and declines to hold Black Friday or seasonal discounts.
