Nau is a sustainability-focused apparel label founded in 2007 in Portland, Oregon by a group including Chris van Dyke, Eric Reynolds, Mark Galbraith, Jil Zilligen and Ian Yolles. The line spans weather-resistant shells, insulated jackets using responsibly sourced down, merino wool knits and recycled-fibre basics, cut in restrained silhouettes intended to work in cities and outdoors. Recycled and lower-impact fabrics plus environmental giving programs are its core positioning. The name comes from the Maori greeting "Nau Mai."
