Erik Schedin

Erik Schedin is the eponymous label of the Swedish designer who, during his final year at Beckmans College in Stockholm in 2004, drew an all-white, logo-free leather sneaker on an Italian rubber sole — a template that predates most minimal-sneaker rivals. The brand still centres on that low-cut leather shoe, plus suede and cotton-canvas vulcanised court versions, sold through erikschedin.com and stockists including Dover Street Market. Schedin has collaborated with Comme des Garcons Shirt, which reissued the original in canvas and printed form, and with Facetasm.
