Fortela

Fortela is a Milan-based menswear and womenswear label founded in 2015 by fashion entrepreneur and vintage collector Alessandro Squarzi, who serves as creative director alongside Alessia Giacobino, who leads the women's line. Collections translate Squarzi's extensive vintage archive into archive-inspired workwear, American military and Western silhouettes, and mid-century Italian tailoring, produced in Italy using Japanese selvedge denim and deadstock or vintage fabrics. Signature pieces include Type 1 denim jackets, selvedge jeans, chore coats, flannel shirts and cashmere knitwear. The brand operates Milan retail stores, including a Porta Venezia flagship, and wholesales internationally.
