Francesca’s
Francesca's was a Houston-based women's specialty retailer built on a small-format, boutique-style store model selling fast-turning trend apparel, dresses, jewelry, accessories and giftables at accessible prices. It filed Chapter 11 in December 2020 and was bought in January 2021 by TerraMar Capital's Francesca's Acquisition LLC, with Tiger Capital and SB360, for $18 million. Revival attempts included the tween line Franki by Francesca's and the acquisition of Richer Poorer. It filed a second Chapter 11 on February 5, 2026 and began liquidating roughly 400-457 stores with no buyer.
