What to know about Gloverall
Gloverall is a British outerwear maker best known for the duffle coat. Freda and Harold Morris founded it in 1951 after the Ministry of Defence offered them surplus WWII naval duffles, which they sold through their glove-and-overall wholesale business. It was the first company to sell the duffle to British civilians. Today it makes men's and women's wool coats: toggle-fastened duffles like the Monty, plus reefers, pea coats, car coats and quilted jackets in heritage British styling.
