Gravity Pope

gravitypope is a Canadian multi-brand retailer that opened in 1990 as a footwear boutique on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, with an espresso bar in the back that later became a clothing area. It expanded with a Calgary footwear store in 2000 and Vancouver in 2004, added standalone clothing shops from 2007, and launched online retail in 2005. Buying skews toward European and Japanese labels — hard-to-find fashion and handmade artisanal footwear imported from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany and beyond — alongside sport and comfort brands and its own private-label footwear line, begun in 2007.
