Stephan Schneider designs his eponymous label in Antwerp, where the German-born designer has been based since graduating from the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1994. He develops his own textiles and produces collections in Belgium, with garments cut by hand and finished in-house. The aesthetic runs to loose tailoring, boxy shirting, textile-led knitwear and workwear-derived outerwear in muted, pattern-heavy palettes built for longevity. The label passed its 30th year in 2024. Schneider also teaches fashion design at Universität der Künste Berlin, and stockists include SSENSE and La Garçonne.
