Hay

HAY is a Danish furniture and homeware company founded in Copenhagen in 2002 by Mette and Rolf Hay, showing its first collection at imm Cologne in 2003 and opening a Pilestræde store the same year. It applies Danish design traditions to accessibly priced contemporary production, collaborating with designers including Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Hee Welling and Doshi Levien on chairs, tables, lighting, textiles and colourful desk and storage accessories. US group Herman Miller, now MillerKnoll, has held a majority stake since 2019. It is a design brand, not apparel.
