Hien Le

Hien Le is the namesake label of Vietnamese-German designer Hien Le, launched in Berlin in 2010. It debuted at Berlin Fashion Week in 2011 with straight lines, restrained detailing and high-quality materials, and Hien Le was named Best Newcomer by Sportswear International. Collections pair minimalist tailoring and fluid separates with a sporty, utilitarian edge; critics singled out the spring/summer 2017 collection for its clean styling. The designer rejects readings of Asian influence in the work, describing the collections as German.
