INSCRIRE

INSCRIRE is a Tokyo womenswear label founded in 2017 by Yumika Oka, who worked at Nepenthes and as a designer, buyer and merchandiser for Deuxieme Classe and Drawer before launching her own line. Collections balance menswear tailoring, vintage military references and European coastal ease, cut from Japanese and European fabrics: boxy checked coats, reversible satin jackets, Aran knits and long trousers. The sportier Club Sports & Rich Health line reworks 1990s athletic gear in androgynous shapes. A Tokyo Fashion Award winner, it shows at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo and sells via SSENSE and Japanese retailers.
