Isabel Marant Etoile

Étoile is the diffusion line of Isabel Marant, launched in Paris in 2000 as a more casual, lower-priced counterpart to the mainline collection Marant began showing in 1995. It covers denim, printed cotton dresses, embroidered blouses, chunky knitwear, tailored blazers and logo sweatshirts, drawing on the house mix of bohemian, Western and rock references. Étoile pieces typically sell for roughly half the runway line's prices and are stocked in Isabel Marant's own boutiques and site plus wholesalers including SSENSE and Net-a-Porter.
