DÔEN is a women-run Los Angeles label founded in 2016 by Santa Barbara-born sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland with a collective of founding partners including photographer Hilary Walsh. Collections draw on nostalgia for mid-century coastal California: prairie and slip dresses, blouses with ruffled or puff sleeves, knitwear, swim and children's pieces in florals, block prints and eyelet. The brand sells direct through its site and retail stores, including a shop at Brentwood Country Mart, and emphasises female-led supply chains and charitable giving.
