J KOO

J KOO is a Seoul womenswear label founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife designers Jinwoo Choi and Yeonjoo Koo, who met studying menswear design at Central Saint Martins. The pair apply Savile Row tailoring methods to deconstructed blazers, suiting, shirting and dresses, layering Korean street styling over British formalwear. Finalists for the 2016 International Woolmark Prize, they produced a Woolmark-backed fall/winter 2018 collection and an adidas collaboration for spring/summer 2020. The label is a regular Seoul Fashion Week fixture and sells through SSENSE and other multibrand retailers.
