LIZ LISA is a Tokyo womenswear label launched in 1999 by Vent International, opening its first store in Shibuya 109. It defines the hime-kei ("princess") side of gyaru style: floral prints, lace, frills, ribbon detailing, tiered dresses, knits and matching bags. Sub-lines have included TRALALA and LIZ LISA doll. Crossplus took majority control in 2006 and sold the business in 2015 for about 308 million yen to LIZ LISA Co. and LIZ LISA Holdings, backed by Nozomi Capital Partners, who still run it through directly operated shops and the Tokyo Kawaii Life online store.
