Ministry of Supply is a Boston performance-workwear label founded in 2012 by former MIT students Gihan Amarasiriwardena, Aman Advani, Kit Hickey and Kevin Rustagi, after a Kickstarter campaign for the Apollo dress shirt built around NASA-derived phase-change materials. It engineers men's and women's business clothing from technical knits and stretch fabrics, including the Apollo shirt, Kinetic trousers and 3D Print-Knit blazers knitted to shape to reduce waste. The privately held company sells direct online and through a small group of US stores, sitting between tailoring and activewear.
