Founding directors Chris Roff and Jake Doxat met on a 1989 expedition to southern Chile. The brand is built on fast-and-light layering: the 1997 Extreme Smock and Extreme range used by mountain rescue teams, the Eight Smock early softshell, and Featherlite windshirts.
