Mowalola is the label of Nigerian-born, London-based designer Mowalola Ogunlesi, launched after her 2017 Central Saint Martins graduate collection "Psychedelic", inspired by 1970s and 80s Nigerian rock. Collections centre on sex-forward, body-conscious pieces: leather jackets and trousers, low-rise denim, cropped tailoring, graphic knits and Y2K-leaning accessories in saturated colour. Ogunlesi developed through Fashion East and worked at Wales Bonner and Celine before becoming design director of Kanye West's YZY Gap. She shows seasonally in London and was named to Drapers' 30 Under 30 in 2025.
