Mr. Olive
MR.OLIVE is a Tokyo menswear label started by designer Wataru Nagao for Autumn/Winter 2003, working to a "Created in Japan, product of Japan" brief with domestic mills and factories. Collections rework 1960s-80s American culture into wearable trad-leaning basics: coach and chore jackets, coats, easy trousers, knitwear and cut-and-sew, plus a well-known leather goods line of wallets, sacoches and daypacks in Horween Chromexcel and water-repellent Imperma leather. Sub-line MR.OLIVE E.O.I and the Daikanyama concept shop WALK IN CLOSET anchor the brand's retail.
