Pandora
Pandora is a Danish jewellery company founded in 1982 in Copenhagen by goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and Winnie Liljeborg, first trading as Populair Smykker and importing pieces from Thailand before designing in-house from 1987. Its customisable charm bracelet, launched in Denmark in 2000, remains the core product, sold alongside rings, earrings, necklaces and licensed character collections. Manufacturing is concentrated in Thailand, and the company has shifted to recycled silver and gold and lab-grown stones. It is publicly listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen and trades through thousands of stores worldwide.
