Philipp Plein
Philipp Plein is the eponymous label of German designer Philipp Plein, founded in 1998 and run from Lugano, Switzerland, with its show calendar and hotel based in Milan. The house builds maximalist luxury around crystal and stud embellishment, skull motifs and oversized hexagon logos across distressed denim, leather outerwear, chunky sneakers and eveningwear. Parent Plein Group also operates Plein Sport and Billionaire, acquired from Flavio Briatore in 2016, plus a Milan hotel. Pyrotechnic runway spectacles and celebrity casting drive visibility.
