Chrome Hearts is a private, family-run Los Angeles label founded in 1988 by Richard Stark with John Bowman and Leonard Kamhout, starting with leather motorcycle gear worn by rock musicians. It makes sterling silver jewelry built on cross, dagger and fleur-de-lis motifs, plus eyewear, leather outerwear, heavyweight hoodies and tees, furniture and home goods, sold mainly through its own stores. Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark still lead design alongside daughter Jesse Jo. A December 2025 Nike NOCTA capsule included a $39,000 puffer jacket.
