What to know about Railcar Fine Goods

Everything is sewn in El Monte

Cutting and sewing happen in-house at the brand's own California workshop, on vintage machines, with a small team of sewers and leather workers.

A train mechanic's approach to construction

Founder Steven Dang worked as a Los Angeles Metro train mechanic before starting the label in 2010, and brought that mechanical thinking to garment building.

The workshop doubles as a store

The El Monte compound also holds a multi-brand retail shop plus denim alteration and repair, so garments can come back for work after purchase.
