Rocawear is a New York hip-hop apparel label founded in 1999 by Roc-A-Fella Records partners Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Damon Dash. The line covers denim, graphic and logo tees, fleece hoodies, track sets, puffer jackets and accessories, plus fragrance, in the logo-forward early-2000s urban style it helped popularize. Dash sold his stake to Carter in 2005; Carter sold the brand's rights and intellectual property to Iconix Brand Group in 2007 for $204 million.
