Rowing Blazers
Rowing Blazers is a New York label founded in 2017 by rower-turned-archaeologist Jack Carlson, an outgrowth of his book on club rowing blazers. It reworks Ivy and English club codes into loud graphic knitwear, striped rugby shirts, crested blazers, madras outerwear and caps, sold direct-to-consumer and through collaborations with Gucci, Target, Seiko, Tudor and Warm & Wonderful. Burch Creative Capital took a majority stake in February 2024 and named Laura Willensky CEO; Carlson exited as creative director in March 2025. Rugbies run about $178, sweaters and trousers $188–$298.
