Skagen
Skagen designs minimalist watches, jewelry and small leather goods, and operates as a subsidiary of Fossil Group, which acquired it in 2012. Danish couple Henrik and Charlotte Jorst founded the company in the United States in 1989, naming it after Denmark's northernmost town and building the brand around Scandinavian design cues. Collections such as Signatur, Grenen and Aaren use slim steel cases, mesh bracelets, uncluttered dials and muted colour palettes. Most watches retail between roughly $100 and $200 through skagen.com, department stores and multi-brand jewellers.
