Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty is a London women's activewear label founded in 1998 by Tamara and Simon Hill-Norton, starting with a single Notting Hill shop. Its core range covers leggings — the compressive Power and Super Sculpt styles — plus sports bras, running and yoga kit, ski wear and athleisure outerwear, typically in bold prints and colour-blocked neutrals. It sells direct online, through roughly 60 UK and international stores, and via wholesale partners such as Nordstrom. Wolverine Worldwide has owned the brand since its $410m purchase from L Catterton in August 2021; a 2023 restructuring cut UK roles and moved North American wholesale to Wolverine, with the UK business returning to profit in 2024.
