The Kooples is a Paris contemporary label founded in 2008 by brothers Alexandre, Laurent and Raphaël Elicha, built on a rock-inflected, Anglo-French wardrobe sold at accessible-luxury prices. Signature pieces include slim tailoring and blazers, leather biker jackets, velvet, shirting, printed tees and crest-detailed knitwear, with men's and women's lines sharing the same codes. Distribution runs through its own European stores, department-store concessions and e-commerce. After financial difficulty, the company was taken over by French industrial group Verdoso in April 2025, which now owns the brand.
