TNF Purple Label
The North Face Purple Label is the Japan-based diffusion line of The North Face, launched in 2003 by Goldwin Inc. with designer Eiichiro Homma, who founded nanamica the same year and still directs the label. It reworks archive North Face pieces — Mountain and Nuptse-style down jackets, 65/35 cloth parkas, fleeces, chinos and daypacks — with slimmer city fits, GORE-TEX and other technical fabrics, and muted earth tones. Distribution stays limited to Japan and South Korea, sold through nanamica stores, Goldwin and Japanese retailers, with recurring nanamica capsules and upcycled-gear projects.
