Vilebrequin produces luxury swimwear and resortwear rooted in the men's swim short Fred Prysquel first designed in Saint-Tropez in 1971. Signature Moorea and Mistral trunks combine quick-dry fabrics, back eyelets and hand-assembled waistband drawstrings with printed motifs such as turtles, crabs and marine life, frequently offered in matching father-and-son sizes. Collections extend to women's and children's swim, linen shirts, terry polos, T-shirts and beach accessories, sold through resort-town boutiques and wholesale. G-III Apparel Group has owned the brand since 2012; Roland Herlory is CEO and headquarters are in Geneva.
