Wales Bonner is the London label founded in 2014 by Central Saint Martins graduate Grace Wales Bonner, who won the LVMH Prize in 2016. It began in menswear via Fashion East and now covers both men's and women's, researching Black Atlantic and African diaspora culture through tailoring crossed with sportswear, crochet and knitwear, silk shirting, embellishment and archival print references. A long-running adidas Originals partnership yields recurring Samba, SL 72 and Country footwear plus apparel. The brand remains independently owned and shows at Paris and London fashion weeks.
