Western Rise
Western Rise is a direct-to-consumer men's performance apparel label founded in 2015 by Kelly and Will Watters, former Colorado outdoor guides who applied a textile-development background to travel-ready basics. The Telluride brand builds custom technical fabrics into clean, tailored-looking staples: the Kickstarter-funded Evolution Pant, Diversion Pant, Limitless merino shirting and Toray-insulated AirLoft jacket. Pants run roughly $128-$148 and outerwear near $258, sold online plus Nordstrom and Backcountry. The company filed for bankruptcy in June 2024 with $5.4 million in debt; the founders relocated to Vietnam and relaunched the label in late 2025.
