Yuichi Toyama
YUICHI TOYAMA. is a Japanese eyewear label founded by designer Yuichi Toyama, who launched it as USH in 2009 and renamed it under his own name in 2017. Frames are developed through his company Atelier Cinq and produced in Sabae, Fukui, Japan's eyewear manufacturing centre, in titanium, acetate and combination builds. The work pairs traditional craft with structural, pared-back shapes: thin metal rims, sculpted bridges and everyday-object references. The premium YUICHI TOYAMA:5 line is made with five Sabae specialists using original parts and screws.
