Air Jordan

Air Jordan is the Nike, Inc. division built around Michael Jordan, who signed with Nike in 1984; the Air Jordan 1 followed in 1985 and Jordan Brand was established as a separate Nike subsidiary in 1997. Its output centres on retro releases of the Jordan 1, 3, 4 and 11, performance basketball models, and Jumpman fleece and apparel. Collaborations with partners including Travis Scott, Union LA, A Ma Maniére and Off-White drive resale demand, and the label backs signature lines for NBA and WNBA athletes.
